A song for all the dead black boys and the mothers who miss them

Here’s a song for all the dead black boys who never got to grow up and live their lives thanks to society’s harsh view and treatment of them; this is also a song for all the mothers who’ve lost their “beautiful boy.”

Jackie Gouche’, Daniel “Supa Good” Farris, and Davion Farris were inspired to write “Beautiful Boy” because of the recent events in Ferguson and Staten Island.

“We wrote this song to touch the soul of America,” says Gouche’. “It’s to remind them that the young African-Americans whose lives are being taken away unjustly are not dangerous criminals or thugs, but some mother’s beautiful boy. It’s a cry for justice, compassion and change.” –Christian Music Makers
