Phil Wickham

Phil Wickham’s highly anticipated new full length album Children Of God will debut on April 22, 2016. Marking his first LP in three yearsChildren Of God comes on the heels of the impactful single “This Is Amazing Grace,” which was certified RIAA Gold and named BMI’s Christian Song of the Year as it topped radio charts. This powerful anthem was recently recognized as the most-sung worship song in the North American church by Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI). Children Of God is filled with songs sure to follow in those footsteps and become new worship favorites. Heralded by the single “Your Love Awakens Me,” the pre-order of the new album is available now on PhilWickham.com and on iTunes and Amazon Music March 11th.

Laboring for a year to craft his newest release, Wickham shares of the deeply personal story and intention behind the record. “A year and a half ago I lost my voice and was forced to have surgery on my vocal chords with the risk of not being able to sing professionally again. During the difficulty of that season, God spoke the simple yet massive truth into my heart that He loves me. That He loves us. That we are first and foremost His children. That whatever may come our way we are His children. That whatever we may be faced with, we are His. Many of these songs were written out of this new found sense of identity.”

Citizen Way

Christian music band Citizen Way just announced their highly-anticipated sophomore album, 2.0, will be available March 11.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from the group since their 2013 debut, Love Is The Evidence, which produced radio hits such as “How Sweet The Sound,” “Should’ve Been Me,” “Nothing Ever” and “Evidence.” Tireless road warriors, Citizen Way has toured with MercyMe, Big Daddy Weave and Sanctus Real among others. 2.0 is the byproduct of the change, growth and transitions the band has since experienced.

“Sharing this record with a friend is an easy way to share the gospel,” Citizen Way members shared. “These songs are anthems for reigniting your faith in Jesus by equipping you with His Word. We pray that it moves you to walk with Him in a new way. This record sounds best when you sing along loudly!”

Fans can get a taste of what to expect from the album with the first single “When I’m With You” already on almost 40 stations, including K-LOVE, SiriusXM, WCSG in Grand Rapids and KJNW in Kansas City.

“‘When I’m With You’ for me is the song about how I coped with the miscarriage of our son Jeremiah,” lead singer Ben Calhoun shared. “Psalm 34:18 says ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ I am living proof that that verse is absolutely true. Jesus met us where we were, and He hurt and healed with us. I know He will use this song to do the same for you.”

Citizen Way is currently out on The Rock & Worship Roadshow alongside Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, Mandisa and more. The tour will run through March, hitting almost 30 cities across the US.

Matt Price

Matt Price sounds like Jody McBrayer from Avalon coupled with Justin Bieber in that he makes electronic-dance-pop music. His sophomore EP, Dream, is out now.

Coming out of a year filled with life transition on every front, Price poured his thoughts, emotions and prayers onto paper forming the blueprint for the songs found on the six-track set, which features five original cuts—all co-written and produced by Price—and one acoustic selection. While he enlisted the help of veteran songwriters Sue C. Smith, Tony Wood and Michael Farren and newcomer Sarah Wood to bring the tracks on Dream to life, Price’s personal experience shaped the fresh collection of songs.

The title track speaks to the desires and passions that God plants deep within our souls to equip us for our callings in life and encourages listeners to dream with the Creator. Meanwhile, “Falling Into You” was the result of Price and his wife leaving the comforts of their life in Atlanta to make the move to Nashville to pursue music. Marrying his wife five years ago inspired “Beautiful Now,” which poignantly defies the lies culture feeds women about beauty and identity, reminding them that they were uniquely created by the Maker of the universe. The song’s relevant message has already struck a chord with listeners and was featured on KLTY’s “New Music Cafe,” an hour-long syndicated radio program that spotlights music from up-and-coming musicians.

“The ideas and themes that you hear on Dream were born out of the many triumphs, as well as the deepest struggles of my life over the past couple of years,” Price shares. “To take these ideas—chapters straight out of my story—and turn them into songs with some of the most legendary writers in the industry was an incredible honor. This record is a true reflection of who I am as an artist, and I am so excited to be releasing it.”

Jcksn Ave

Maroon 5’s PJ Morton is on a mission to influence the urban musical landscape with inspiring new music such as the velvet-smooth sounds of the captivating Urban Pop sister act Jcksn Ave. Their debut digital single “All These Dreams,” is now on iTunes.

Morton first spotted the group at one of his concerts. “I was performing and they were dancing and having a good time in the audience,” he recalls. “I noticed their energy and they looked cool! They introduced themselves after the show and the rest is history.” He liked their vibe and now they are making good vibrations on Morton Records. These five blood sisters (Madison, Jessica, Moriah, Kristian and Hannah) have been singing, writing, arranging and producing their own music since 2001. They hail from Memphis, TN where they first sang in church before graduating to high school shows and singing around The Bluff city. Now, Jcksn Ave’s goal is to just make great inspirational music that uplifts the spirit, entertains the mind and blurs cultural barriers.
